For the ninth time the team of Limnological Institute SB RAS performed a charitable New Year`s fairy tale for Irkutsk orphanages and children and grandchildren of our employees. This year we visited Irkutsk Children`s Boarding Home No. 2 with presents and a performance “Beware, fakers are working!”.

We would like to thank the Trade Union Committee of the Institute and all our colleagues for their help in collecting funds and gifts for the children. Special thanks to the “Umka” Holiday Centre for providing costumes.

The event was organized by: Mikhail Yakhnenko as Ded Moroz, Alexandra Volkova as Snegurochka, Yulia Sapozhnikova as Baba Yaga, Maxim Shikhovtsev as Koschei, Igor Zaidykov as Leshchei, Alena Yakhnenko as Cat, Maria Bashenhaeva as the first faker, Olga Kustova as the second faker, as well as Sergey Potapov, Ivan Smolin and Ivan Tyurnev as technical support.
