The renewal of the instrument base continues!

New instruments were supplied to our Institute under the instrument base renewal programme:

Real-time CFX96 C1000 Touch Amplifier

The Real-time CFX96 C1000 Touch Amplifier is used to perform PCR with real-time analysis of results. The instrument enables a wide range of studies, from quantitative assessments of gene copy number and gene expression to allele-specific PCR. Multiplex PCR is possible with five fluorescence measurement channels.

OLYMPUS IX83 inverted microscope for research in biology and medicine

The fully motorized IX83 is designed for a wide range of scientific research. Additional modules greatly expand the microscopes capabilities, enabling a variety of imaging techniques for different applications, from routine documentation to long-term observations with frame-by-frame imaging. The IX3's unique open frame provides access to the light path, allowing easy control of the illumination and the introduction of additional devices. Modules can be quickly changed on the fly, adding or removing features as required.

Characteristics of the microscope:

  • Modular motorisation: the required level of automation depending on the operational requirements;
  • Unique compact size, along with high stability;
  • Fluorescence: : illumination systems and high-precision ion-coated filters provide high signal-to-noise ratio and low autofluorescence for detailed experiments;
  • Intuitive control system for efficient visualization of live cells.

BRED-1000 Spectrophotometer EzDrop 1000

Designed for measuring concentrations of nucleic acids and proteins in micro volumes.

Benchtop bioreactor Labfirst Scientific BR100

The Labfirst Scientific BR100 benchtop bioreactor is designed for culturing microorganisms and cell cultures. Each bioreactor includes a control station and a culture vessel. The control station is used to control process functions and parameters such as hydrogen ion concentration (pH), dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, and interfusion. Gas lines are connected to the bioreactor to allow microorganisms to be cultured in an atmosphere of N2, CO2, O2, or a gas mixture.
