Visit of Gennady Yakovlevich Krasnikov President of RAS, academician of RAS, to Limnological Institute of SB RAS

On August 4, 2023, Gennady Yakovlevich Krasnikov President of RAS, academician of RAS visited Limnological Institute of SB RAS. Within the visit program President of RAS got acquainted with the directions of the Institute's activity and the main results obtained. Work of the Interactive Monitoring Center of the Baikal Natural Territory and Lake Baikal, where meteorological, hydrophysical, chemical and biooptic indicators of the environment recorded in online mode, and also a fragment of the atmospheric ice core from the well 5G from Vostok station (Antarctica) studied by the Laboratory of Hydrochemistry and Atmospheric Chemistry, was demonstrated to the guest.
